Asuka thought about Shinji the third children. He is
kind, caring and understanding. But he is such a wimp. Or is he. After living
with him for a while, she wasn’t so sure of that anymore. Sure He does looks
like one, But he never acted as wimp. If he wasn’t, then she will have no
excuses for loving him. After all she always wanted a guy that was kind,
caring, understanding, and strong. Shinji was all that except that he is weak.
Then how in the world did he punch through that wall? He was so mysterious. Maybe he is strong. Maybe he is hiding.
Maybe he will be her ideal boyfriend. After all him and Kaji is the only person
who doesn’t fear her
Asuka looked to her right and saw Shinji through the
view screen. They were both in their entry plug doing harmonic test. She smiled
as she looked at his face.
<Shinji can you hear me?> Misato said through
the intercom.
“Oh Hi Misato. How is the test score.?”
<Well. Congratulation. You are #!>
Shinji was happy.
Asuka promised herself to kill him later.
--nest day—
Somewhere in city, a shadow started to spread as a
spear was formed in the middle of the Sky. The spear had black and white color
in wield design. It never noticed 3 Evas going around the city stealthily.
Unit 01 looked through between the buildings as he
hold a pistol.
Unit 00 hold a rifle as she got ready to move into
the position.
Unit 02 leaned against the building as she held up
the axe.
“Okay that all the info we have on this new angel.
All of you will attack at the same time.”
<Geez Misato. Isn’t Shinji suppose to be the
point man? After all he got the highest sync ration> Asuka said
<Wh..What?>
<Why afraid?>
<NO I’m not afraid. I’ll do it. In fact I’ll show
you how its done!>
“Shinji come down.” Misato said
<Oh hi Misato. Didn’t you say that I have the
highest score. I’ll do it. After all this Is the man’s job. Unit 01 out.>
<Grrrr. That nerve of him Unit 02 will back him
up>
<Unit 00 will back him up as well.>
“Grrrr those kids!” Misato said
“Shinji’s hormones are kicking in aren’t they?”
Ritsuko said.
Unit 01 one moved around stealthily through the
city. He was also using his Nijitsu Technique He made no sound at all. He
finally made to the spot.
“Asuka, Ayanami. Are you there yet?”
<No>
<You know Eva’s can’t move that fast!>
Shinji waited for a while. He waited and waited. He
finally saw the Spear. It was heading away from him.
“Asuka, Rei are you there yet?”
There
was no answer. So he decided to attack. He came out of the hiding spot and shot
at the angel. But to his surprise the spear disappeared.
<Shinji! Its right under you!> Misato yelled
He looked down and saw the shadow. And to his horror he was sinking.
“Misato I’m sinking help!” He yelled as he shot at
the shadow. The bullets were useless. “Bakusai Tatketsu!” He yelled as he
jabbed his finger at the angel. But it didn’t blow up. Meaning that it was
alive.
<Misato! The real angel is the shadow!>
“That’s confirmed!” Maya yelled.
“Unit 00, Unit 02, Help Shinji to get out of there!”
Asuka was running as fast as she can. That moron. He
had to get himself caught by the angel!
<Asuka don’t come near here!>
“Shut up Shinji. Do you think I want to see you
die!”
<Asuka look out.> Misato yelled
Asuka looked down and saw the shadow forming under
her. “The Shadow” she yelled as she jumped up the building. Using her tools she
climbed on top of it. To her horror she saw that entire city was sinking. And
she saw Unit 01 disappearing under the shadow. “SHINJI!”

Shinji signed. This was boring. For 14 hour he did
nothing. He just waited for the rescue unit to arrive. He even tried to use the
teleportation, but somehow he couldn’t. Nothing worked. He had only 2 hours
left. This was getting really boring. Having nothing else to do he decided to
go to sleep.
“Just tell me what the hell is going on!” Asuka
yelled
“All we know is that, the shadow is the real angel.
About 1600m in diameter and about 3nanometers thick. The spear you see is the
shadow.;”
“God damn that Shinji. He had to get cocky and go
ahead. Ha serves him right,” Asuka said. Then Rei came in front of her staring
at her. “What! Does my comment about Shinji makes you mad?”
“I wonder. Do you live for the praise of the other?”
“What? I don’t need any praise form others. All I
need Is praise from my own!”
“That’s enough both of you!” Misato yelled “We all
know what he did was wrong. I guess, I will punish him when he gets back.”
Shinji opened his eyes. He looked at his watch. It
was almost time. The LCL was getting foggy, and his suit was going out. He was
getting cold and colder.
[Ah so the Shalock awakes]
Shinji was surprised ”Who? Who are you.”
[I’m the 12th angel of course. I have
been waiting for you. You see I am from other realm and I have mission to kill
you. No not just kill you delete you completely so you wouldn’t be exists at
all. So when the time comes for final battle we will win and this Realm will be
ours. Ha. Ha. Ha. Ha. Ha. Ha. Ha.]
Shinji was getting mad
[Oh don’t worry about Skuld. I take good care of her.
I’m sure I’ll have FUN with her] the angel chuckled.
Shinji was mad. Who ever this is he was going to
pay. No one makes fun of his life mate and gets out alive. No one. And No one
treats his life.
Asuka and Rei got their Evas into their position.
They didn’t really like the plan. Ritsuko decided to used all 996 N2 bombs and
drop them into the hole. But the blast will kill Shinji. How could she do that.
Than the hell broke lose.
Hell broke lose was perfect word for what was
happening in front of her. The ground started to shake as the Black part of the
ground started to break apart. And it was showing the red from under ground. It
was one scary sight. As if the breaking wasn’t enough, the broken rocks started
to defy gravity and started to rise.
“What the hell is going on here.” Asuka yelled
<I don’t know all the readings are going
crazy!>
<Is Shinji doing this?> Misato said
<Impossible! You know that by this time his power
is out!>
Then she noticed that Spear above the city started
to shake as the color turned to all black. Then one of the side started to
pinch out. And it was ripped open showing the hand of the Eva.
As soon as the Eva’s hand came out. Every single intercom and video links was opened,
Showing Shinji surrounded by golden light, and with Golden spike hair. He was
screaming.
“I AM EUGENE THE SHALOCK, AND I WILL NOT BE
DELETED!” he yelled
Asuka was in horror. Shinji looked really
horrifying. And the word Shalock. She remembered him saying that to her once.
She looked up and saw more horrifying scene. The Eva unit 01 was ripping out of
the angel, Roaring in ear piercing sound, and blood spreading everywhere. The
Eva was covered in blood and was spreading similar golden light as that of the
Shinji’s. and the eye. It was growing in bright light. It was absolutely
horrifying sight.
“Oh my god. Is that what I’m piloting?”
The Eva spread his arm and the Angel blew away,
sending the pieces all over the places. The shock wave also sent the rock to
spread. The Eva dropped to the ground creating the earth quake.
The Eva stood like that for a few while. Golden
light covering his body and the eye growing in the similar way. Then the light
died down and the Entry plug was ejected.
Shinji opened his eyes. He was still inside the
Entry plug. But the emergency hatch was opened. And the Misato was there. She
was crying
“Shinji. Thank god your are alright!” Misato said as
she hugged him. She was still crying,
“I just wanted to see them one more time.” He said
as he went unconscious.
Shinji opened his eyes. He was in hospital. And he
really hated that ceiling. He got up and saw that. Rei was next to him.
“Ayanami?”
“You can rest today. We’ll take care of everything.”
She said as she got up and left. When she opened the door he saw that Asuka was
there.
“You are the Shalock aren’t you” she asked.
“What?”
“When you got out of that angel, you said that you
are the Eugene the Shalock “
“I don’t know. I don’t remember.”
“Hmph.” She said as she got out of the room.
Shinji stared at the closed door. He was alone again.
Then someone hugged him from behind.
“Eugene. You are alive!”
Shinji turned and saw Skuld hugging him.
“Father!” 3 continuous cry came as his 3 daughter
came and hugged him also.
“Hey guys. How are you all doing.”
“God I was so worried. That enemy could have erased
you from excitants you know.” Skuld said as she cried.
“Don’t cry. I’m okay. Really. I killed him didn’t
I.”
“Daddy I’m glad you are okay.”
Rest of the night He spent his time with his family.
He spent next weeks in his lab. He had all this test
to do because of what happened. After
the test was over. He was allowed to go back to normal life again. He
was no in his class room.
“Shinji have you seen Touji?” Shinji turned and saw
Hikari.
“Uh. No. Why?”
“He came to me few days ago, and seems to be
depressed. Then he didn’t come to school.”
“If I find him I’ll tell him okay.”
“Thanks. Shinji.”
He went back to work when Rei came to him
“Pilot Ikari. There will be activation test for Unit
03 today. Please report to Headquarter today after school.”
“Oh alright.”
