History Rewritten.
“Is this what’s left of the greatest
EVA pilot Asuka Langley Soryu? “ The voice said.
Asuka was surprised. And dropped her knife. She was sitting alone in a bathtub in a abandoned house, Naked. Her cloth were neatly folded and was put on top of the chair, with her red shoes neatly arranged underneath it. The knife was to cut her wrist so she could die, but this stranger stopped him. And she knew the owner of the voice.
“ Hello Shinji.” Asuka said in a
rejected voice. Low and scared. No defense at all.
“Do you really want to do that. Ending
your own life.” Shinji said as he came out from the shadow. He noticed that she
was naked showing her beautiful body. Even the place he dared not to look just
a few month ago. But he didn’t care now. He was changed and her life was more
important to him.
“Why not. I have no use in this world.”
“Do you really think that’s true.”
Asuka was silent. She wasn’t actually
for sure. Maybe there could be some other reasons to live.
“Asuka. You are still 15 years old. At
that age People enjoy their childhood and start thinking about future and start
building up. If one fails they have plenty of time to find new goal and start
another one. It means you can also find new meaning for your life. Just because
you lost your ability to pilot, doesn’t mean that you have nothing.”
Asuka was again silent. She had nothing
to say.
“Anyway. There are people who is
worried about you. Please come back.”
“Why would they worried about me?” Asuka
said
“Why? Maybe because they care for you?”
“You are lying. Nobody cares for me. My
Papa left when I was young. And my Mama……” Asuka started to trail off as she
remembered that day. Tear forming in her eyes.
“I know what happened to your past Asuka.
You don’t have to say them. I know it hurts you. And Asuka. You are wrong.
People do care for you. Misato cares, Kaji cares…. And…. I care.”
Asuka was surprised at the last
comment. She lifted her head to look at Shinji who was approaching her.
“In fact Asuka. To tell you the truth.
I love you.” Shinji said and he did something normal Shinji wouldn’t dare to
do. He kissed her.
Asuka didn’t know what to do when he
started to kiss her. His word that he loves her was still trying to get into
her brain, trying to recognize the word. She started to cry as she knew what he
said she started to kiss back. She could feel Shinji enjoying the return kiss.
After few minutes her hand automatically moved and removed Shinji’s cloth.

About an hour later, Shinji
and Asuka, both naked were inside the bathtub. The scent in the bathroom
clearly told what just happened to this two couple. And if that didn’t, the
sweats on their body, The smeared blood on Asuka’s inner thigh did.
Asuka signed resting her head on
Shinji’s broad shoulder. She wanted this to last forever. This feeling was very
comforting, warm. “So this is it. Isn’t
it?”
“Huh. What do you mean?” Asked Shinji who was confused at her question.
“I mean you got what you wanted didn’t
you. My body. Isn’t that all you wanted from me. And after using me, You are
going to leave me aren’t you. Just like the others you are going to leave me.”
Asuka said tears forming in her eyes.
“Asuka. I’ll never leave you. Didn’t I
tell you. I love you. I lost all the people whom I care. I’m not gonna loose
you.” Shinji said as he hugged her tighter.
“But why! Don’t you remember what I did
to you! I.. I did all those nasty things and said all those things to you. WHY!?!” Asuka yelled. She was crying
harder now.
“I know what you mean. I was very
annoyed when ever you play joke on me and blame me. But fact is a fact. I care
for you. Maybe it’s your unstoppable personality. Maybe its your drive, or
maybe it is your looks. But I do love you. I lived with you for almost a year.
When you suddenly left crying, I knew I care for you.” Shinji said.
Asuka only cried in his embrace.

“You ready?” Shinji asked Asuka, Who
seems scared.
“I don’t know. What if Misato really
didn’t care about me. What if she kicks me out, since I don’t work for NERV
anymore.” Asuka said in a scared voice.
“Well let’s find out.” Shinji said as
he took out he key. He unlocked the door and went inside.
“Misato I’m home.” Said Shinji.
Misato immediately woke up from her
sleep. Beer cans were everywhere. She had gotten drunk and fall asleep after
hearing that Shinji had run away again. And this time she was sure that he
wouldn’t return. But he came back. He came back to her.
“Shinji!” She said as she went out the
door to hug Shinji but then she noticed that he wasn’t alone. He was holding
someone by her waist as if they were couples. And the girl was Asuka! Her other
lost roommate.
“Asuka..” Misato said disbelieving.
“H... hello Misato.” Asuka said meekly.
“Asuka!” Misato yelled as she ran and
hugged her both roommates. She had missed them. She had missed them a lot.
“Asuka where have you been?” Misato asked. Her tears clearly showing.
Asuka was glad. The tear meant that she
did care for her. “Oh here and there Misato. It’s good to see you again.” Asuka
said hugging her back. She was starting to gain her confidence back. Shinji was
right People do care for her.
“So anything happened ?” Misato asked
Asuka, sniffing as she slowly pulled back
“ Oh except the fact that I just lost
my virginity to my beloved Shin-Chan, nothing else happened.” Said Asuka
smiling.
Misato’s jaw dropped to the floor.
Shinji started to blush beat red.
Asuka noticed this and smiled in her
usual bossy way. She grabbed Shinji’s hand started to drag him to the bath
room. “Come on Shin-Chan. I haven’t taken bath in month. Let’s take the bath
together.” She said dragging him inside and closing the door.
*Yup. She’s back alright.* was the
Shinji’s only thought.
Misato’s jaw was still glued to the
floor.

Shinji slowly opened his eyes. He was
naked, and was holding Asuka. Also naked as well. First he panicked. Feeling
the wreath of Demon Asuka. But he remembered last night and what happened. He
felt really comfortable holding her. Even when her breast were touching his
body. He signed and hold her closer.
“Ummmm. How about a Good morning kiss?”
Asuka mumbled
“Good morning Asu-Chan.” Shinji said as
he kissed her. “We better get up. We will be late for school.” He added.
“Do I have to?” Asuka pouted. “Geez.
Leave it to Shinji to break up the mood.”
“Sorry.” Shinji said earning a laugh
from Asuka.
They quickly got dressed. Cooked and
ate their breakfast, fed the Pen-Pen, made a lunch for both of them. It was
usual morning for both of them except that they weren’t fighting, and Misato
was yelling at them something about having sex in a young age. But what can she
do. She isn’t their mother. And nothing will separate them. The doorbell rang indicating that Shinji’s
friends are here. Shinji grabbed Asuka’s hand went out.
“Hey Kensuki. Hey Touji. You made it
out of the hospital. Congratulation. And hello Hikari. Helping Touji out?”
Shinji said. Outside the door was Kensuki, Touji in his wheel chair, and behind
him was Hikari, who was helping Touji.
“Ack!” Kensuki yelled as he saw Shinji
holding Asuka’s hand.
“Shinji! The…the enemy! What are you
doing with our enemy!” Touji said pointing to Asuka.
“Asuka !” Hikari yelled as she hugged
her best friend.
“Hey Hikari It’s good to see you again.
“ Said Asuka as she hugged her back
Hikari let go of her and noticed how
close both Shinji and Asuka were. “Alright spill it. What’s going on you too.
Don’t tell me you guys are going out.” Hikari said warily. She knew that Asuka
had small feeling for Shinji. But when they were together, it always end up in
disaster due to Asuka’s temper and behavior.
“More than that. We are now lover!”
Asuka said proudly as she hugged Shinji tighter.
Kensuki fainted.
Touji eyes grew wide as he murmured How
could you.
Hikari eyes grew wide and beamed at
Shinji.
Asuka moved toward Touji who was trying
to back off. Touji didn’t want Asuka yelling at him. He was rather scared of
her demonic personality.
“Hello Touji. Long time no see. How is
your leg.” Asuka said in a sympathetic voice.
Touji almost fell of the wheel chair.
Asuka was being nice! This is Asuka. And she is acting NICE! “Um. I’m fine.
Thank you for your concern” He said.
“Asuka. What happened to you. You never
act nice to Touji Kun before?” Hikari asked. She was rather confused at her new
behavior.
“ Well. I had little talk with
Shin-Chan last night. And he made me realize that I don’t have to act like a
bitch because there are people care for me. Come on Hikari. We have lots to
talk about.” Asuka said and grabbed her best friend’s arm and ran off.
“You’ve changed Shinji.” Touji said. As
he turned his focus to Shinji. “I remember when you first came here. You were a
total wimp. But look at you. A real man. With a most beautiful girl in Japan.”
“Yeah I guess I did. I am a man. I
can’t run away. At least for my friend.” Shinji said as he remembered.
Rei had died in 16th angel
attack. She was cloned back, but she was dead. And gave grief to his heart. And
Kowaru. His another friend and replacement pilot had died in 17th
angel attack. He clutched his fist as he remembered the last angel. It was a
walking version of sun. A sphere of light. And Kowaru had died trying to kill
the 17th angel. If he was their sooner, he could have saved him. Not
to have same fate as Rei did.
Touji noticed the change in his friends
face. “Come on Let’s go.” He said.

3 years had passed, and nothing much
happened after the Seele’s attack. Lucky for Shinji and Asuka. Kaji was alive
and broadcast he whole scene to the whole world. And UN put a immediate stop to
the attack, using its force. For 3 years Shinji and other pilots stayed in
NERV, for other possible attack. And 3 years later, another angel attacked.
“Where is Shinji and Asuka.” Misato
growled. Now 23 and married to Kaji. Who was now a sub commander. She had
gathered the pilots for debriefing and Shinji and Asuka was nowhere to find.
“Actually Misato. I’m here. And I think
my fiancée is getting a bit late.” Asuka said as she lifted her hand up in the
dark room. At that moment the door opened and revealed Shinji, who was now 18,
wearing a NERV uniform. But his dress was shown that he was putting it up in a
hurry, his hair was a mess and his eyes looked tired and seems like he just got
up.
“Your fiancée making you staying up
late?” Touji asked, now a designated pilot for unit 03.
“Um. Yeah. Yawn.” Shinji replied. The
room filled with 9 pilots began to fill with laugh.
Misato smiled. They were just cute
couples. And her adopted children. “Anyway. We have another angel attack.” The
room quieted down and stared at Misato. “Shinji you remember the last angel
Tabris?” She asked
Every color in Shinji’s face was
drained. “How could I forget?” said Shinji as anger filled his face.
“Well after the angel was destroyed,
USSR took small sample to study. The UN didn’t do anything about it and left
them alone. Just few days ago, we learn that that USSR was actually cloning the
angel to create their own weapon similar to our EVAs.”
“Misato. Then….” Shinji said. He didn’t
like where this was heading.
“Anyway. Somehow this clone got control
of its own body. Or berserker you might say. Few hours ago it broke lose and is
on rampage. Strangely it is heading straight toward South East.” Said Misato as
the view screen of Asia and Europe and small portion of Africa came up. Soon
the line was drawn with an arrow on the bottom. “This arrow is where its is
headed.” She finished.
“Misato. If he kept on going, he will
reach the city of Atlantis!” Asuka yelled. The gasp were heard through out the
room. Atlantis had mysteriously arose from the sea water about a year ago.
Became a big news, and all the artifacts were in good state. It is now one of
the touring place.
“Yes its true. Then we will get ready
on the shore of the Atlantis and we will intercept him there. Now let’s go!”
She said. She looked around and saw everyone leaving to their locker room. But
only Shinji and Asuka remained. Shinji’s face was white and Asuka was trying to
calm him down. “Shinji. This clone has about half of the power the original
has. And our EVAs has become more powerful than before. And we got 9 of them.”
“I know Misato. But it kept reminding
me of….” Shinji didn’t finish as he got up and left. Asuka followed after him.
“Shinji. What was the last angel like?”
Asuka asked
“Well think of ever single angel we
fought and mix them together. Then you get the last angel.” Shinji said. Asuka
began to get worry.

In half a day, The 9 EVAs were ready on
the shore of the newly found lost city, Atlantis. The EVAs were indeed
improved. It had now wings with jet pack that used AT field as fuel. And next
to jet pack they carried pair of missile launchers. And armor had more shine to
them.
<Okay. Everybody. Get to your
position. The enemy’s ETA is 10 minutes.> Misato said through the intercom.
<Hey Shinji. Are you scared? >
Asked Asuka
“Yeah. I am.”
<Well. You better not die. At least
for our child. > Asuka said
“Wh. What?!?” Shinji said. Asuka was
with a child?
<The enemy is on visual !> Unit
08 cried out.
<All units Fire!> Misato ordered
As soon as she said the word the hell
broke loose. Each EVAs launched their missiles and shoot their guns at the
target. But it was useless as the missiles and bullets were bounced off from
the enemy’s AT field.
“The enemy has AT field. All units.
Begin hand to hand combat. And Rei. get the anti-AT field rifle ready!” Shinji
ordered.
Every body jettisoned their shoulder
weapon. And took our their swords and knives from their shoulder pad. Except
Rei who took out her Shoulder weapon and start to assemble it into the Rifle.
8 units charged at the angel. With
their weapon ready. They stabbed and sung their weapons but their weapons were
useless as the angel’s AT-field was too strong. It was Asuka who used her skill
and experience that ripped the angel’s AT-field.
Shinji was glad. His Asuka was back
alright. Her skills were even better. Then the alarm went off, indicating the
energy build up. “Everybody get down !” Shinji ordered. Everyone ducked in just
in time. But the beam similar to 5th angel’s energy beam went on and
hit Rei’s EVA right on the chest. The beam was more powerful than the 5th
angels as it went through the EVA. Destroying the plug as well. She dropped as
the anti-AT field rifle dropped next to her.
“Rei!” Shinji yelled as he went to her
to. But he was struck by small beam on the side of the arm and was thrown off
to the ground. The sensors indicated that the Left arm was cut off from the
blast.
<Shinji! Are you all right? >
Asuka came as she helped him up. <Oh my god. > Asuka said.
Shinji looked at the angel and said the
same thing. The angel had grew 6 tentacles similar to that of 4th
and 14th angel and had sliced every other EVAs. This angel was too
powerful. It knew every single attack they do. Now it was 2 against one. The
angel kept moving toward its destination. Then it stopped, and started to get
brighter. Than Shinji realized that the angel was in the middle of the Atlantis.
<Shinji get up! Don’t give up yet!
Get up! Get up! > Asuka yelled frankly. Shinji ignored the pain and slowly
got up, supported by Asuka. Then Shinji was thrown back as Asuka’s EVA was hit
by another beam. Shinji’s EVA fell and Asuka’s EVA was engulfed by the light
and was thrown back few thousand feet.
“Asuka!” He yelled and started to run
toward her. She found her EVA stopped by one of the buildings. “Asuka!” He
yelled. He dragged the heavily damaged EVA and opened the hatch and took out
the Plug. To his horror the plug was badly destroyed. It’s main hatch was
ripped open. He zoomed in and started to look for the body. There he saw it.
The red mess of body and bones.
Heart beat = 0
Pulse Rate = 0
Brain Activity = none
Pilot Asuka Langley Soryu confirmed
dead. Processing data.
The computer screen read confirming dead.
“NNNOOOOOOOOO!!!!! ASSUUUKAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!” He yelled and
yelled for his dead fiancée. He didn’t notice that his EVA’s eye was starting
to glow.
“NNNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!”
Then
the EVA started to glow and faced the heaven and let go of its terrifying yell.
“GGYYYYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!”
“NNNNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!”
Shinji immediately got up from his bed.
Sweats were all over his body. He remembered. He remembered all those things
that happened. And it still gave him nightmares. He wanted to forgot but he
can’t. He lost everybody he care for in his last battle. It just gives him more
pain and pain. He wanted to say this to everyone and no one would believe him.
They would just call him crazy saying that there are no EVAs and angels.
Riiinnngggg Rrrriiiinnnngggg Rrriiiinnnngggg
The Phone rang. He went and picked it
up. He was still shaken from his dream but he managed to hold the speaker.
“Hello.” He said
< HI. It’s me Asuka. Could you come
to Johnny’s Arcade now. We are going to design our C.S. and team uniform. And
also, we need to come up with our team name, and will be given membership card.
So hurry up. >
“Okay. I’ll be there in few minutes.”
He hung up, and went to the dresser, and took our his high school uniform.

Do you like it? This is the second
chapter of History Written. The whole chapter except last is about Shinji’s nightmare.
And it did happen to him. And now he is going to play a game of C.S. that I
mentioned in chapter 1 Next chapter. Shinji will help to create a team uniform,
name and their C.S.
