Ranma in Pokeland

"RANMA PREPARE TO DIE !" Ryoga yelled as he jumped toward Ranma standing in the middle of the crowd. “Hey wait for your turn!” someone yelled at him from the crowed and stopped.. “Wha… huh?”

“I said wait for your turn you dumbass. Can’t you see that this is the tournament! You have to bet!”

“What?”

Ryoga looked around and saw that it is a tournament. People were paying to fight. If Ranma won he would get the money , but if challenger has won they would get double their money.

“That’s right Ryoga. If you want to fight me you have to bet the money.”

“All right then. I don’t need a lot of money so here 20,000 yen!”

Crowed gasped at the amount. That was a lot of money.

“All right. Come in to the ring. Let’s see what you can do.”

Ryoga put down his back pack and climbed into the makeshift ring. He was excited. He always felt excited when fighting Ranma. He was the only one who can give him a quite workout. He got into the ready stance, as did Ranma.

“Fight!” Someone yelled and instantly Ryoga went and gave a powerful punch to Ranma’s stomach. Ranma easily saw this and dodged it and counterattacked it. They were jumping up and down, left and right to hit block and counter. Crowd were amazed at their display. They were at least jumping 20ft up in the air.

About 5 minutes later Ryoga got tired and decided to end the battle. “All right Ranma try this. Shi Shi Hokodan!” Ryoga yelled as green ki blast was shot from his extended hand. “Moko Takabisha!” Ranma yelled as blue ki blast came out from his hand. Both ki blast were hit each other and with a bright light they disappeared.

Ryoga looked through the bright light, looking for Ranma. Then realized that Ranma was in front of him He had no time to react as Ranma yelled and 500 punched were given to him in the stomach. And with stars circling around his head, he fainted. Crowd cheered as Ranma collected his money. He was getting rich everyday.

Ranma was collecting money. Something he rarely does. Today because of Ryoga he got a lot of money. Enough to buy what he want. ‘Wait until she see it’ with that he went home. It was getting late.

Ranma woke up suddenly. It was early but he got up. He was going to buy it today, and somehow he was excited. He quickly dressed up and headed downstairs. He didn’t forgot to bring his well earned money.

“Good morning Ranma” He turned and saw Kasumi and his mom cooking breakfast. “Morning.” He replied.

“My you are up early today. Something’s up?”

“No mom I’m just going for a walk. See you.” Then he jumped over the wall Nodoka watched as his son jump over the wall. ‘Hmmmm I wonder what hi is up to.

Ranma ran through the streets to the mall he is going to buy it today.

What he is buying?

‘A ring’

For who ?

‘For Akane.’

Why ?

‘Because I love her.’

Yes he loves her. He didn’t realized it until his talk with his mother. She talked about how he shouldn’t hide his feelings and such. He was left along to thing and that’s when he realized that he should try to get rid of his problems, and how much he loved Akane. He found the shop and went in. he is going to buy the ring that Akane always looks through the display whenever they path by. She is in for surprise.

“I’m home!” Ranma yelled as he entered the house. “Go up and wash up son. Breakfast is ready soon.”

“Okay mom”

Ranma went up to the bathroom and washed. When he came down, everyone was already eating. He quickly sat across Akane and began eating. He was half way done when he realized that everyone was watching him. “Uh? What’s wrong?”

“Ranma are you all right?” Nabiki asked.

“Yeah why?”

“First of all you got up early.” Nodoka said.

“And you are looking at Akane if she is some kind of goddess or something.”

“Well she is cute you know.” Ranma said and everyone face faulted. Except Akane who was blushing.

“Okay Ranma let me give you a free advise. Go see dr. Tofu. Something is definitely not right.”

“Don’t worry I’m all right. Hey Akane wanna spar?” Ranma got up as he finished his breakfast. Akane was taken of guard. He never asked her that! “Uh sure. I’m done. Let me just change.” Then she got up. Somehow for past weeks Ranma was being nice to her.

Few minutes later, Akane went into the dojo and saw Ranma in lotus position smiling. Akane couldn’t help but notice how cute he looked. “Okay. I’m here let’s spar?” Akane said happily. “ Geez hold your horses. Just sit down first. I have to tell ya something.” Akane was curious but sat down anyway. ‘This is it.’ Ranma thought

“Akane… I….”

“What?”

“Uhh…. Will…..” ‘Man I’m making myself fool here.’

“What spill it out.’

Ranma reached into his pocket and pulled out a box that contains the ring.” Akane will you…” He didn’t finish the sentence as Shampoo came out of nowhere and grabbed the ring. “Aiya! For me? Thank you Airen.”

“Hey give that back.” Ranma tried desperately to get the ring back.

“RANMA! So that was it. You were nice to me because you chose shampoo. Well I’m sorry that I even liked you!”

“Wait Akane it’s not what you think.”

“I don’t care! Just get out of my sight you freak! As far as I am concerned I was never engaged to you! I hate you!”

Ranma watched as Akane went away. The word had hurtled him really bad. Specially the word freak. After all with his curse he was freak. “Let marry today.” Shampoo said as she hugged Ranma. Ranma was angered. “Let go of me, and give back my ring!” He got out of the hug and took the ring by force. Shampoo was frozen. She never seen Ranma this mad. He just stared at her until he ran upstairs and up to his room.

‘I hate you’

‘Freak.’

Those word haunted Ranma. ‘It’s not fair. Why is this happening to me. Can’t I just live a normal life?’

That night at dinner

“Ranma please open the door You must be hungry.” Nodoka knocked on the door but there was no answer. She turned to Akane. “Akane what’s wrong with my son? Did you fight again?”

“No”

“Yeah right. Then why are you mad?” Nabiki said.

“That’s because someone bought the ring that I was going to buy.” With that she stormed into her room. That was true. She was collecting money to buy that ring.

At midnight.

Ranma slowly opened to Akane’s door and silently went in. he didn’t have much business here. But he had to give this to her. He left the bow and the note on her table and looked at the sleeping figure. ‘God she is beautiful.’ He thought. Then he proceeded to go out.

He visited to kitchen. He opened the door to refrigerator and started to gulp down the food. He was really hungry for missing lunch and dinner. After the feeding, he put the rest of the food into the bag he brought. When the bag filled he quietly closed the door and went up to his room. Once he was in his room he started to pack up. First his cloth , then his survivor gear. He was leaving. He is going to miss Akane, but he had to get rid of his problems. He just had to. He felt sorry for doing this to Akane but he doesn’t have any choice.

“You are leaving aren’t you.”

Ranma turned toward the sound and saw Akane standing on the doorway. She was holding the letter he wrote. “Yes”

“Why?”

“Because I have to.” Ranma continued to pack. Akane came up from behind and embraced him. She was trembling. And was that tears? “That ring looks good one you.”

“Thank you.” Now she was sobbing. “Please. Please stay.”

“I can’t Akane. Until I get rid of all my troubles I can’t. It will only harm you. Like today. You have noticed that you never lived a normal life after I came here did you.?”

“Yes but…”

“Akane please understand.” Ranma finished packing and opened the window.

“You will come back will you?”

“Akane. That ring… that ring was for you. Of course I’ll come back. Just wait for me. I don’t know how long it will take but I will come back. I promise.”

“Here then take this.” Akane said as she gave Ranma something. Ranma received it and looked at it. It was a necklace, with a heart. He opened it and there was picture of Akane, gently smiling at him, just the way he likes it. “ Thanks. I’ll keep it with me always.” He said as he put it around his neck.

“Take this also.” Akane handed him something else. He took it and it was money. A lot of money. “Akane… I ..I can’t take this.” Akane put her finger in his mouth and said “ Shhhh. It’s all right. The money was for the ring. Since you bought me, I don’t need it.”

They both stared each other, and finally Ranma became brave enough and started to lean closer to her. Akane also noticed this and moved closer. Their lips finally met, and tongue found the other tongue. It was their first real kiss. Not just accidents, but a real kiss. They enjoyed the kiss for a while, until Ranma broke it. He moved to window. “I’ll see you soon. Akane.” He said as he leaped out into the night. Akane watched him, and wished him luck.

“Akane get up!”

“Aug, Let me sleep more. Its Saturday.” Akane said sleepily. She had trouble sleeping because of what happened last night. She doesn’t know if she should be happy because Ranma was now officially engaged to her, or sad because Ranma left, not knowing when he would return.

“Akane get up Ranma is gone!” Nabiki yelled again.

“Yawn, that’s nice.”

“That nice ? Akane Ranma is gone! He packed his stuff and gone!”

“I know.” Said Akane as she rubbed her hand on her face, trying to wake up.

“You knew? And you.. you are not worried?”

“Why should I be?”

“What, how in the world is he going to come back after what you did to him yesterday….” Nabiki stopped as she saw the ring in her finger. “My god.. he didn’t, did he?”

“Yep. And he did promise me that he will come back for me.” Akane said smile coming to her face. “Don’t tell anybody sister. It will only cause more trouble.”

“I will sis.” Nabiki said coming out of the shock “I will under one condition.” She grinned

“What ?” Akane said who definitely did not like the smile Nabiki was giving.

“Tell everything to us sis.” It was not Nabiki but Kasumi who answered her question.

It had been few month since he left Japan but he found it. He found the Jusenkyo. “Hello young sir. Welcome to the Jusenkyo.” The guide said quickly, not wanting to have another victim

“Ah hello. Do you have ‘spring of drowned man.’ I really need it.” Ranma said.

“Ah you sir. I remember you sir. Yes sir I’ll bring it right away.” And with that he hurrily went to fetch the water. After all he was grateful of him.

---In Pokemon land---

“Professor. We are here.” Ash said as he and he and his traveling companion, Misty, Brock entered the lab of Professor Oak. He was glad to see Professor again. But he was not happy to see his rival Gary.

“Hey loser what took you so long.” Gary greeted the same way he did everyday.

“Now, now both of you please behave. Follow me. I like to show you something.” Professor Oak said succeeding breaking them apart.

Ash, Misty, Brock, and Gary followed Professor Oak deep into the lap. Inside they found a huge ring shaped mechanism connected to different type of computers and sorts. “Wow. What is this?” Ash asked.

“This” Professor explained “Is the dimensional gate. It is specially designed to pick a very powerful organism of different dimension and bring it here.”

“A powerful organism?”

“Yes that’s why we brought you her.”

“Oh I get it you want us to capture it? Right?” Gary said.

“That is correct.” He then turned toward the other scientists “Begin the search.” Instantly the computers came alive, as scientists move frequently.

Locked on world x120, y273, z301 The computer said

“Wow 4 million!” Ashe and his gang said in amazement

--- In Jusenkyo ---

Ranma was patiently waiting for the Guide to bring him the magical water. One splash and he will be cured! He was excited. After this he can go home and meet Akane again, or he can look for the ways to get rid of his Neko-Phobia. He wondered how he can get rid of that.

He was thinking when a bright flash came around him and instantly his was surrounded by. Before he could react he was gone.

“Sir here is the…. Sir?” The guide came back and could not find Ranma.

---Nerima---

Akane was looking out the window and was humming her favorite song. She did not really care about what teacher is saying right now. In her mind was Ranma. After Ranma was disappeared, his friends and enemies went berserk, but she didn’t mind. As long as the other fiancées doesn’t find the engagement ring which was hidden in the necklace which she is currently wearing, she is fine.

Then she felt the sudden pain in her hurt. She felt like something was missing. A loneliness. She felt it and it somehow hurt her. She knew what it was. Something important was gone from her. With tears forming in her eyes, she said the name silently. “Ranma.”

---Pokemon land---

Ash, Misty, Brock, Gary, and Professor looked at the figure coming out from the gate.

Transfer complete.

“Wow that was some ride. Where the heck am I ?” The figure said. The new Pokemon could speak.

“All right I’m catching it first. Go Pidgeot.” Gary said as he threw a pokeball.

“Pidgeoooooo.”

“No wait he could be a human.” Ash tried to warn but it was too late. Pidgeot was attacking the new comer.

“What the heck is this!” Surprisingly the new comer is dodging all the Pidgeot’s attack. The human! Maybe he wasn’t a human at all. “That’s it I’m mad. Chestnut fist!” The new comer, which could be identified as a young boy with a black hair in pig-tail attacked the Pidgeot with blinding speed. Within a second the Pidgeot was down.

“Grrrr. Pidgeot return! This time I will choose…” Gary could not finish his sentence as the pig-tailed boy grabbed him by the collar and lifted him up

“Hey I don’t know what’s wrong with you and reason for attacking, but it’s stopping now.”

This time Gary was frightened. The new guy was strong. Really strong. His knee were shaking and was holing him barely as the pig-tailed boy put him down.

“Uh.. Excuse me, but are you Human?” Ash asked.

“Of course I’m human.” The pig-tailed boy replied. “I’m Ranma Soatome of Soatome’s Anything Goes Martial Art School. And now I believe I deserve some explanation.”

Few minutes later. Everything was explained to Ranma. Sure he was mad, but when he heard that he will go back he wasn’t so bad. “Why don’t you stay in this world for a while. Say about a week. I mean nobody gets this kind of trip you know. I’m sure, you will find it fascinating.” Professor said.

“Sure. I’ll stay for about a week.” Ranma replied. Not knowing what his luck can bring him. As always that is.

Week had gone fast, as Ranma learned about Pokemon, and he told his story of his world. He found the Pokemon fascinating. Specially Pikachu Ash was caring. He wondered if Akane wanted some. I mean it was darn cute. (And scary when provoked.) Right now he stood in front of the gate, waiting for it to open. If Professor’s calculation is right, he would land exactly where he was taken from which is Jusenkyo.

“Bye Ranma it was nice meeting you” Ash waved at his departing friend.

“Take care.” Misty waved her hand

“Don’t forgot to give Ukyo my recipe!” Brock said waving good bye also.

Ranma said his good bye and waited for the computer to open the gate to his world. He couldn’t wait. He really missed Akane, and his friends.

KABOOM !

Suddenly a wall exploded, causing the alarm to go off. From the broken wall. Group of uniformed people were rushing in. they were wearing the black uniform with the red r logo on their chest. “We are the Team Rockets and we are here to steal the Dimension gate. Give it to us peacefully or face the consequences.” The one who looks like the leader said.

“No we will not give it to you. It belongs to us.” Professor said calmly. Ranma was looking at the new comer and knew they were not good people. I mean they stopped him from going home.

“Ha then we will steal it by force. 1^st group fire.!” The leader said. Then bunch of team rockets were shooting the nets from a bazooka. They were aiming at scientists and other Pokemon trainers. Only person that was not caught was Ranma. They just can’t seems to aim at him.

“2^nd line fire !”

Then Jessie and James came with a bazooka. Aiming at the gate.

“Ah you!” Ash said as he realized who they are.

“Ha Ha Ha, you towarps. We got you now.”

“Yeah Prepare for trouble.”

“And make it double.”

Bam! x2

“Forget the motto, we have a job to do.” Angry Meoth as he hit them on the head.

“Okay, okay we got the point.” Jessie and James aimed their bazooka and shat at it. To their surprise instead of the hook, which they wanted to use to grab the gate, the real missile came out. It went straight for Ranma who was watching the whole scene. He noticed the missile and dodged and…

Boom!

Ranma turned around and saw the gate completely destroyed. Everything was destroyed.

“NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.”

He was in rage. With a loud yell he was at the Team Rocket. Making them unconscious one by one. “ I’LL KILL YOU ALL, I’LL KILL YOU ALL!”

“My god, he is crazy, retreat retreat!”

Instantly half of Team Rockets were unconscious.

“Ah!”

“Help”

“Retreat.. Retrea….. Uff.”

5 minutes later, Ranma looked at the battle ground. All the team Rockets were down and no one escaped. The police were taking care of them now. Handcuffing them. He turned toward the gate and stared at the destroyed metals. He was depressed. Really depressed. Can he go home? Can he even meet Akane? He promised her. He promised.

“Shi Shi HOKODAN!” with a yell he let his depress go loose. But he was still depressed. He felt the hand in his shoulder and he knew that it belong to Professor Oak. He raised his hope a little.

“I’m sorry. It is completely destroyed. I don’t know if we can rebuild it. If we do, it will take years.”

Years. He is stuck in this years or forever. He finally let go off his tears and ran he ran toward the forest.

“Ranma..” Ash tried to stop him but was halted by Brock.

“Let him go Ash. Let him go.” He said.

Ranma was in the middle of the forest leaning against the tree sobbing. He was apologize to Akane, how sorry he was. It hurtled him a lot. And what would Akane think of him now. Can she take it if she finds out that he is gone from her world? Then he noticed a creature on his left. He couldn’t see it but he knew it was there. It looked like it was trying to help him. “Leave me along.” He swung his hand, but meet nothing but air. This time the creature was on is right. He looked and saw a white small Pokemon about a foot tall. It was really cute looking with the big eye and had a long tail. What’s more surprising was that it was hovering. But Ranma didn’t care. He was too depressed to notice.

“Look leave me along. How could you understand how it feels to lose everything. I lost my home, my parents and my loved ones.” He moved his stare to the ground again and silently cried.

“Just leave me along…. Please.”

The white Pokemon gave him a sympathetic look and nodded. Then he disappeared.

Nest day Ranma was feeling a lot better. He still felt at lose but he was feeling better. A little bit better. He was at lose now. He doesn’t know where to go. He still doesn’t now a lot around here. He felt hungry, so he decided to find something to eat. That’s when he noticed the three Fearows flying in circle. Ranma decided to investigate and headed toward the Fearows. There he found the Pokemon he saw yesterday lying on the ground, all battered. Hi s body was total mess. And those Fearows were there to eat him.

“Hey leave him along!” Ranma yelled as he saw Fearow attacking the poor Pokemon. He grabbed the nearby stick, and went to his side for help. He bravely fought the Fearows. The battered Pokemon wondered why he was helping him. And if that human succeeded, he will be the first person to ever capture his kind. To his dismay, he saw human winning against three Fearows. Then he blacked out.

The creature slowly opened his eyes. He was alive. That was good, and better he was not in the pokeball. Then he noticed that he was all bandaged up. He slowly got up.

“Hey you are awake.” He turned toward the sound and saw the human that was crying. And he was handing him something. And the creature thought it was the pokeball.

“Here eat this. You must be hungry.” The creature looked and indeed it was food. He instantly took and started to devour it. He had been very hungry. After he was done eating he got up and began removing the bandages.

“Hey stop that, you are hurt, and you need….” Ranma stopped in his mid sentence when all the bruises and cuts, were instantly healed up. “Hey that’s a neat trick you got there. I’m Ranma Soatome. Wanna be friends?” and Ranma put forth his hand

The creature looked at the human. He asked to be friends. He doesn’t want to capture him. He looked into his eyes and saw pain and loneness. He remembered what this human said yesterday. He reached for his hand and grabbed his finger with his tiny paw, and gently shook it.

“Mew”

The creature said, and friendship between Ranma and Mew began.
